Our story & our need
At Varsity Skateboarding Organization our ramp is more than just wood and screws -- it's a place where community happens, and growth is supported.
We need your help to protect this space, keep skaters safe while riding, protect the ramp from misuse/damage, and ensure that the ramp can still be used for events, lessons, and more.
Recently we have had some uninvited individuals choose to trespass on the ramp. If they were to get hurt skating without signing a waiver we could face a lawsuit that could force our nonprofit to no longer exist. Our biggest need right now is to build a fence to stop the misuse of the ramp and create intentional spaces on and around the ramp to build stronger community.
